Floored

I'm actually reeling from the reviews from my readers. Never in a million years did I think I'd be writing male on male romance when I was in my twenties. I love it, every damn second of it, and I make no apologies to those who can't understand it. I don't think I've been able to pick up a hetero book , or watch a hetero movie since I began. I think the classic two men falling in love has changed me forever.

I love writing, always have. I've spent most of my life moving around to different Air Force bases and Army post's. I spent the most amount of time however, in Washington State. (Yes, I have been to Fork's, but that was BEFORE Twilight exploded there). Seattle is one of my favorite cities of all time, as well as the surrounding area.

The coldest place I have ever lived, was Alaska. My coffee literally froze in my cup the thirty seconds I was standing outside. Moose in the front yard, Bears on the playground, Ah, Alaska. I like to write about what I know, and I know Alaska. Winters are long, summer's are sunny and the sun is up even at two in the morning. The best part is the free light show at night. The Aurora Borealis.

I grew up in Tucson however, and it remains to this day, home.

I started this with the ending of "As the world turns". Upset by the death of one of the gay characters, I sulked, cried and screamed for weeks. (I was not alone in my depression) Thus, in my anguish, I wrote. I created a whole world for my two beloved characters, and then I created more, and more. The show had written them beautifully, they slowly fell in love, only to have one downed by a train. (Yes, I am still in the bitter barn).

I have my supporters, those who fell into an equal depression of said loss...we banded together and now, they are my greatest of friends. I hope you will all continue to enjoy the boys, I love them all.

  2. we're all so glad you started writing for them too & i've enjoyed reading all the stories you have written & the future stories yet to come.
i too can't look at hetero romance stories the same as i do gay romance, for some reason it's more about the love in the gay stories & how they fall in love & build their future together that's so much more real & powerful.

  4. Sorry my dear friend... Once again I am late to the show... Love what you had to say. What a journey it has been and I have only been a part of the last couple of years.. Your writing is amazing as you know I already feel when after reading for an hour (thousands of words) I cry out "It's Over????!!!?? NOOOOOOO". I cannot get enough. So happy for you that your dreams are coming true. You deserve it. You are incredibly talented... What more can I say?? So glad to have met you that fateful day in August 2010 in Boston. Who knew? Love ya, Me.
