Well, "A Marked Man" has been re-released with editing issues fixed. Now we just have to finish the next three. "Alaska, With Love", "By the light of the moon" and "Half Moon rising" Are going back to be edited by my new editor Jenjo- who didn't come on board until book five. I think if you have been reading the series, you'll see the difference in editing as the series progresses. I've read some books where the editing is not only horrendous, but the author can't keep the names straight. Still enjoyed the book, though. If the story grabs me, I couldn't give two shits. But, hey, that's just me. As I've stated before, the states I write about I have actually LIVED in, and not for just a couple of months. I spent 12 years in Washington, two in Alaska, 2 in SC, most of my teenage years in AZ and now reside in the south. I'm Constantly surrounded by military men and have spent over twenty years in their company. Yes-...

As the day approaches, I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the short story "Second Time Around". The book centers around two men--Ronin and Maverick, the two of them fell in love in college. Fast forward 12 years and Ronin is at the love of his life's funeral. This is a Paranormal story of course! Maverick is given a second chance with the love of his life. There's only one problem. Maverick won't remember who he is. I've been blessed with a reviewer who actually loves my books! (Imagine that!) I will be featured on her blog, and answer questions inquiring minds want to know. "Betrayed" is out right after Christmas, and centers around the love story of Logan MacLeod and Chance Christianson. (Whom you all met in Irish Wishes). February will bring "Summer of Awakenings" Which centers around Kory Maguire, Jacob Steele and two others! March or April (not sure which yet) Will finally see "Into the Lyons Den" I...

My new editor worked her tail off and finally finished "A Marked Man". The story remains the same, just cleaned up ! http://www.amazon.com/Marked-Man-Assassin-Shifter-ebook/dp/B006WBJDLI/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1354633361&sr=1-1&keywords=a+marked+man Alaska, with Love, By the Light of the Moon, and Half Moon Rising will join it in the next few months. I have to give my editor credit, she came on during book five and has done a wonderful job! The Santorno stories are being proof read as I type and I can't wait to bring you Damon, Stefan, Jordan, Lorenzo and Reece in future books! Thanks for reading!
Publishing with a publisher

Okay, So I'm taking another plunge and allowing one of my short stories to be published by a publisher. I swore I'd never go there, but I respect both of these men and can't wait to see how this all plays out. I wrote a short story about two men (Imagine that!) Who find love. Now, this IS a paranormal book, but the story is far, far away from my Assassin/Shifter books. I have asked to keep those separate from what I give the publishing Co. and they have agreed. I was planning on having "A Marked Man" go on sale for the month of December for 99 cents (UPDATE: A Marked Man will go on sale in the month of January for .99 to celebrate it being out for a year) SO, the re-edited version will be available in the next two days. Nothing changed plot wise, it's just been cleaned up by my wonderful editor Jennifer Jacobson. (I know way too many Jennifer's BTW) On a lighter note, I spent three wonderful days in Panama City Beach with Jordan Levine of Randy Blue an...

There are some days I wonder: "Am I good enough?" I think everyone has that thought in the back of their mind when they write. I'm not ashamed to say I started out in Fanfiction, if it weren't for the many awesome people on that site I would never have taken the plunge into publishing my own works. Sure, fanfiction makes it easier to write. The character already has a personality and background. The trick is to create your own. I've also heard that because I'm not published through a publisher I am less than. I disagree. I've had to fight harder to get my work out there and claw and scratch my way up. I appreciate it more when I get little wins. I'm a big believer in paying it forward and if I can help someone, I will. I am lucky enough to have a group of people around me that back me up and hiss and snarl at those who try to hurt me. I've always had thick skin, so I can usually laugh at reviews. Recently, I was at a BBQ with a bunch of Army ...

As the day draws near, my editor and I are doing re-reads like crazy. It always seems as if WORD has it in for us though. We will change something more than once, save it, come back and find the same mistake. WTF? There are some days I want to shoot my WORD document. More than two pairs of eyes look over the manuscripts, I'd like to thank Kimberly Webb-Balan for the proof reading. She is the one that reads the stories first, tells me whether or not it flows and if she would pay for it. (As if she wouldn't, hmf!) Jenjo is my chief editor and the final word on all manuscripts. As she works for a newspaper as an editor, you don't need to ask why she is the FINAL on all manuscripts. (lol) Theresa Webber not only makes my book covers, but also does read-through's of the final manuscripts, catching whatever Jenjo and I missed. Jennifer Fornes is one of my photographers and had the honor of photographing the three guys that grace the covers. I have to thank Randy and J...
Reviews....

I have read quite a few male/male romance novels and as of today, I have never left a one star review. Here's why: The book would have to be SO bad that I couldn't even finish it. IE: Bad, bad , BAD punctuation and sentence structure, misspelled words...and so on and so forth. Have I read some books that had some missing words? Commas in the wrong place? Sure, did it detract from the story SO much I put the book down? Nope. I just tried to finish a book that had tons of five star ratings. I couldn't finish it. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't my cup of tea. I was very engaged in it, therefore it captured my attention, it just lost it a little more than halfway through where I thought the story should have ended but it kept going. So point number TWO: If the book isn't something I would read: BDSM, Sub/Dom, I Don't buy it! Simple as that. If I accidentally bought it because the warning wasn't in place, would I give it a bad review? Nope. It's not ...

Well, October will see Wyatt and Preston hit Amazon!! I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the book! As most of you know, Wyatt was introduced as a precocious seven year old in "By the Light of the Moon". The baby of the Quinton clan was mated with a much older Preston Dalton. Forced to hide his identity until Wyatt became of age, Preston finally sets out to claim his mate! Enjoy the ride! "An Ignited Passion" October 1, 2012

I'm finally back home and settling in, for at least two more weeks, then I'm off to Florida for a little R&R. The shoot in Arizona was great! Three great guys with fantastic shots of the Chiricahua National monument! The guys were great, even dealing with June bugs in July and Tarantulas. Spent a couple days in Chandler, Arizona at the Sheraton Wild horse pass resort and hit the casino at night. "The General's Lover" Will go on sale August first. I will be submitting it on the 31st just to make sure it arrives in your hands on time! I look forward to the release of "Russian Prey" (Keegan/Vince) In September followed by "An Ignited Passion" (Preston/Wyatt)In October. After that, I will take a small break just to make sure the next stories that go out are worthy. I like to stay ahead, that way I'm not scrambling to write something just to placate my readers. I'll only bring you my best. As always, I thank all of you for continuing...

As always, I would not be where I am today if not for my talented team of editors and proof reader as well as all the people who pick up my books and emerge themselves into the world of Assassin's and shifters. I thank you all for continuing to support me!!!

I'm looking forward to my summer vacation, weeks spent in the hot desert of Arizona and eegee's galore! As most of you know, I'm doing a photo shoot with quite a few hunky men! When looking for the perfect men to portray my guys, I hit the freakin jackpot with these three. "The General's Lover" will be released this summer, (some time in July, I'm taking my laptop with me) followed by book eight which is the Keegan/Vince book and to answer most of you, yes, Wyatt and Preston follow right after. I will keep all of you in mind and try not to make you wait TOO long for the next book in the series! Hope all of you have a wonderful summer!!

I'm actually reeling from the reviews from my readers. Never in a million years did I think I'd be writing male on male romance when I was in my twenties. I love it, every damn second of it, and I make no apologies to those who can't understand it. I don't think I've been able to pick up a hetero book , or watch a hetero movie since I began. I think the classic two men falling in love has changed me forever. I love writing, always have. I've spent most of my life moving around to different Air Force bases and Army post's. I spent the most amount of time however, in Washington State. (Yes, I have been to Fork's, but that was BEFORE Twilight exploded there). Seattle is one of my favorite cities of all time, as well as the surrounding area. The coldest place I have ever lived, was Alaska. My coffee literally froze in my cup the thirty seconds I was standing outside. Moose in the front yard, Bears on the playground, Ah, Alaska. I like to write about wha...

I have to say, the publishing world is shark infested. Luckily, I have some very nice people to lean on. I started out writing seven books and waited to see which publishing company would pick them up. Three wanted them, but one woman at a certain publishing company contacted me personally and told me to publish myself. I am forever grateful to her. I have taken, and gotten some very good advice from certain authors, one in particular has been a life saver. GA Hauser. If you've never picked up one of her books, do so now. I have to say, it's hard not to publish all my books at once, as I love my characters so much. I want people wanting more, and every book I write, I try to accomplish that. I sleep, eat and play with these men on a daily basis, they have become part of me, and I'm just fine with that. I have two wonderful editors and a proofreader that loves her job. (Gee, I wonder why) I hope to keep this series going for a long time. At some point, more characters ...
